The Lewenberg is a 312.6 m above sea level mountain in the Teutoburg Forest near Bielefeld-Lämershagen and, after the Auf dem Polle (320 m), the second highest mountain in Bielefeld. The best way to hike from Hiddesen is via the Residenzweg, then you only have a few hundred meters of asphalt just before the transmitter. The descent towards the south then goes along a gravel forest path. Of course, it's better to ride a bike over the asphalt access to the transmission tower. You can reach it from Heidentalstrasse (also in Hiddesen).

Very long epic mountain route with ups and downs and there are some tree trunks across the ridge. (if you can do it with bunny hop, you won't have any problems here) The path splits high up - so there are various descents - steep and stony. However, if you start from the Eisgrund parking lot, you have an extremely demanding and exhausting trail ahead of you. The subsequent descent is exciting and can sometimes be very fast. Technically demanding single trail with very steep ramps and descents. Only recommended for advanced mountain bikers. Very good condition required.

A fantastic trail with great ups and downs. There was also a rubberized tree crossing that can now be used as a gap. The finish is over 360 meters in elevation. (I can climb it with medium motor assistance on my hardtail.) The descent is a long stretch over the ridge, including a large, well-built gap (weatherproof). If you ride all the way to the end and continue over Hörster Berg, it becomes dusty, rocky, and exciting (berms and gap).
