Around 100 years ago, the Kurpark was laid out in the style of English gardens and has been extensively redesigned in recent years. A mammoth project in which, in addition to structural measures such as the renaturation of the salts, new attractions have also been created. The historical stock of trees and the colorful flowerbeds have of course been preserved in the Kurpark. After all, they are the ones that have made the park stand out since it opened more than 100 years ago.

The spa park is worth a visit. The complex is well-kept and invites you to take a walk or to linger on one of the benches.

The extensive spa park in Bad Salzuflen is one of the largest in Germany and was at times the most visited spa facility in the country. Here you can admire historical bath houses, enjoy the splendor of flowers in the rose garden or sniff healthy salt air in the adventure graduation tower. In the neighboring landscape park, you can stroll around on wide meadows under beautiful trees, try a Kneipp adventure course, look for a way through the maze or observe animals in the game reserve and an aviary. On hiking trails you can also walk further into the surrounding mountain landscape of the Teutoburg Forest.
