The Grafenmühle leisure centre (access via the "Zur Grafenmühle" road) offers a break from everyday life. The grounds include a large pond, two mini-golf courses beautifully embedded in the surrounding greenery, as well as archery stands, a mini-car track, pony rides, bowling alleys, trampolines and many other attractions.

Just perfect for a long break.. from burgers and beer to ice cream and mini golf.. something for everyone!!

It was a fantastic idea to convert this littered wasteland into a lake. A cooling place on a hot day. It is a nice lounge area for the residents of the district.

The Heidesee in the Kirchheller Heide is an approximately 34 hectare quarry lake in the Grafenwald district of the Bottrop district of Kirchhellen in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Ruhr Expressway, RS1 for short, is a 115-kilometer expressway from Moers to Hamm, which is mostly in the planning stage. So far, two sections with a total length of around 15 kilometers have been completed. The longer of these is a 12.5-kilometer section between Mülheim an der Ruhr and Essen. This route is also known as the "Rhenish Railway" because it runs on a part of the former railway line from Osterath to Dortmund South of the Rhenish Railway Company.
