The city of Ptuj, also known as Pettau, is the oldest city in Slovenia and is located in the historic region of Lower Styria. It is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and landmarks such as Ptuj Castle and the City Tower. It's a great place to cycle and stroll. How about relaxing with a delicious ice cream or a hot coffee?

One of the most important buildings in the old town was designed at the beginning of the 20th century by the Viennese architect Max Ferstl. Over a hundred couples get married in the building's wedding hall every year and many Ptuj residents spend many a Saturday morning drinking coffee in front of the town hall and watching the brides and wedding guests.
