We wanted to walk from the Schwarzkopf towards the Steinfeldspitze. However, the path is very demanding. That's why we're back and have made the Gamskogel. On the descent, we noticed the second path, towards the Steinfeldspitze. We walked this one too. Significantly better and not quite as demanding as the other one from Schwarzkopf. But there are some climbing passages. ☝️ A very nice view! We are then even further in the direction of Bärenstaffel. Also very beautiful and impressive with the 6 meter high summit cross!

Climb from the gondola mountain station over the Großeck and the ridge up to the summit cross. Runs wonderfully. Think about a jacket, because it whistles quite a bit over the ridge. I didn't really like the descent via the ski slope, so I would prefer the descent on skis in winter. We then walked to Mauterndorf along the Naturpur-Weg (old Trogalmweg). Combined with the descent over the ski slope, my calves and thighs burned subtly in the evening🙈

The Speiereck is a 2411 m high peak. Reachable from the mountain station in about 15 minutes.

In the western ascent, a ca. 70 m high chimney secured with a wire rope has to be climbed on the summit massif, which is a special highlight.

The summit of the Mosermandl can be reached via the south ridge or via the Westweg (from the Franz Fischer Hut via the Windischscharte ridge). Westweg: Once you've passed the scree cone at the foot of the Mosermandel summit massif, you reach a chimney (similar to a via ferrata with a difficulty of A/B), approximately 70 m high, which is very well secured with wire ropes. This leads almost directly to the summit. The chimney doesn't require any special stamina or arm strength, and climbing it is a lot of fun. Nevertheless, caution and respect for the mountain are advised, especially if you don't have a via ferrata set with you. About 2 km away is the summit of the Faulkogel, which presents a very similar challenge. Here, too, there's a chimney in the summit area, approximately 50 m high, secured with a steel cable, which you have to climb.
