For me, the most important thing is what Michael writes about the Iller Cycle Path. It's boring, with lots of forested stretches and no view. It's only usable from Immenstadt onward. The Günz Valley Cycle Path is varied, but it can get crowded on weekends.

A shady spot to enjoy this idyllic setting for a few minutes. The peace and quiet of the forest provide renewed strength for the rest of the journey.

A great bakery! They don't just serve bread and rolls here – they also serve cakes and sweet pastries (Danish pastries, poppy seed rolls, American rolls, quark dumplings, and... and... even Leberkäse (hot, of course) and three lunch options. They even had ice cream! Opening hours: Weekdays from 6:00 a.m. Sundays from 7:30 a.m. Highly recommended!

It is always nice to hike or cycle through the wide Günztal.

This is a lovely place to enjoy the peace and quiet, with places to sit and a view of the mountains. The typical gilding in the church is manageable, the ceiling consists of many simple pictures, and the side walls show the Passion of Jesus. The choir is white with a few pictures. The honey is creamy and you can spoon it out of the jar. There is a lovely toilet and the cleaning lady would be happy to receive a donation.

The lounger was tempting but we had nothing warm to drink in the 12°C heat.
