A freight lorry, also known as a tipping lorry or lorry (formerly also spelled Lowry), is a rail transport wagon that is primarily used to transport bulk goods such as sand and overburden. In contrast to the pit hunt, it usually has a tipping trough. These wagons are mainly used on field railways. However, they are also used in narrow-gauge or standard-gauge versions on trams to transport your own operating resources. Other examples of trucks include timber transport trucks, mesh box trucks for peat, tank trucks as mobile filling stations for extensive networks, brick dry trucks, passenger trucks and work trucks with mobile track bending devices. The St. Vitus Church was built between 1895 and 1896 in place of an older previous building. It is a typical historicist church building in the neo-Romanesque style. The hall church is a limestone building with a transept and a straight choir end under a gable roof and a west tower. The Frellstedt stone crosses, which stand impressively at the highest point of the country road, are among the few examples of medieval stone crosses that are still preserved in the Helmstedt district. These are simple crosses made of Elm limestone. Originally they stood a little further north on the right and left of the road. One of the crosses was torn out during the construction of a gas pipe and was now standing at the Frellstedt Church. In 1998 both were moved to their current location close to the original location. Mining ⛏️ was also based here. The south shaft is in the immediate vicinity! The locomotive and the lorry are right next to the miners' museum and are reminiscent of open-cast mining and mining.
