Nestled among ancient beech trees stands a carved wooden figure of a shepherd – a symbol of the centuries-old tradition of sheep farming on the Weiselberg. The flocks shaped the open slopes and kept the valuable dry grasslands clear, where rare plants now thrive. Right next to it, a bench invites you to rest – with a view of the landscape shaped by generations of herding and grazing. Tip: This spot is perfect for a short break. In summer, you can often hear the ringing of sheep bells on the hillside – a piece of living cultural landscape right in the middle of your hike.

Great rock formations. However, I wouldn't go too close, as rocks can still break off and fall down.
