"The Hohe Student (1539 m above sea level) is a mountain in the Styrian part of the Mürzsteg Alps. It is part of the main Alpine ridge, which continues to the east over the Freinsattel (1106 m) to the Wildalpe (1523 m) and to the south over the Höhenreithalm (1169 m) to the Fallenstein (1536 m). Great location for beautiful sunsets, about an hour below the peak of the same name. Good Austrian cuisine. Rooms are okay (one to six beds, not lockable). There was a shower with limited hot water, but it wasn't a problem. The included breakfast buffet was okay—nothing special, but everything you need for a good start to the day.
