Schlögener loop: initially a wonderful bike path on the southern side of the Danube, no cars, lonely Danube valley, the silence only broken by the birds up in the Sauwald forest. But about 5 km after the turnoff dir. Haibach is not going any further this year because of a rock fall that stopped years ago. I had to turn around and because there was no ferry traffic in the spring, I had to take the steep climb up to Haibach in order to get back in the direction of Linz. So the warning signs at Schlögen are still right. But the memory of this bike path through this valley makes up for the forced return.
