The summit cross collapsed in January 2014 due to heavy snow and ice loads. The Große Speikkogel is the highest peak in the Koralpe ⛰️ The peak is located in Carinthia around 400 meters west of the border with Styria, around 18 km west of Deutschlandsberg in Styria and around 10 km east of Wolfsberg 🧭 Its summit cross was erected in 1948, renovated in 1973 and renewed in June 2014 ✝️ Height: 2140 m Source: Wikipedia

The new Lavant Bridge at Drauspitz was recently fitted with lighting. The official Drau cycle path R1 runs over the bridge and is also an important pedestrian connection for the population to and from the centre of Lavamünd.
