The railway cycle path from Bad Tatzmannsdorf to Oberwart is traffic-free and gently downhill throughout, and from Großpetersdorf to Rechnitz the cycle path is also traffic-free and easily suitable for families! In Hannersdorf there is a lovely rest area with a wooden train.

The region is known for its stunning views and outdoor activities, but finding a good spot to enjoy a glass of wine can be a challenge. great bike path from Rechnitz to Groß Petersdorf and on to Oberwart. From there you drive on another railway line to your destination. Perfectly designed, super asphalt, hardly any inclines - logical. Railroad tracks don't have much gradient...

The beautiful railway line cycle path begins in Oberschützen and ends in Rechnitz, wonderfully well-developed cycle path, BRAVO!

Great view in all directions at a little over 900 m above sea level (incl. observation tower ;-) ...). Right next to the Kernstockwarte is the Hutwischhütte, where there is also a vending machine.

This newly constructed railway line cycle path between Oberwart and Bad Tatzmannsdorf is part of the overall project along the former railway line from Großpetersdorf to Rechnitz (see https://www.komoot.com/de-de/highlight/5120537) and offers a wonderful opportunity to glide along on a flat stretch alongside the existing cycle path connections.
