The Tempelbergwarte is a lookout tower on the 403 m high Tempelberg between the towns of Altenberg and Hadersfeld in the market town of St. Andrä-Wördern in Lower Austria. I visited this mountain as part of my Dwarf Mountain Tour series. My goal is to climb every mountain in the Vienna Woods. The Hameau is a 464 m high hill in the 17th district of Hernals in Vienna on the border with the Lower Austrian town of Klosterneuburg. Its round summit marks the highest point in the Neuwaldegg district. The Hameau is only ten centimeters lower than the Heuberg in the Dornbach district, the highest elevation in the Hernals district. The meadow and the shelter at the Hameau are on city hiking trail 3 in the Vienna Woods. Probably one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Vienna Woods, it is definitely worth the detour from the Vienna Woods long-distance hiking trail 404.
