A superb section of the route, on a perfect concrete path, which then mutates into a slightly worse asphalt road. The view is magnificent.

Be careful on the descent toward Gielde in the small wooded area: There are a few bumps here that I found really unpleasant at 50 km/h. Maybe take it a bit slower than I did.

Nicer than the old intersection, the roundabout slows things down, no matter which direction you are driving. But it is best to drive north or south to get off the motorway slip road 😬

At the intersection of the L500 and the K85, in the direction of Gielde, Schladen, Wehre and Neuenkirchen, a new traffic roundabout was built to defuse the accident black spot.
