First and foremost, you can discover a small wonder of nature here - the travertine terraces.

From here you have a beautiful view over Beilngries to the Arzberg.

Shortly before entering the village, turn left uphill to a Tika statue with a spear. Follow the path and you'll reach a lovely rest area.

Located on a striking hillside in the Sulztal Valley between Beilngries and Berching, Plankstetten Monastery is one of the most impressive and historically valuable monastic complexes in the Altmühltal Nature Park and is considered a monument of national importance. The complex is not a museum, but rather the home and workplace of a vibrant Benedictine community of monks. The monastery tavern offers organic beer, brewed by the Riedenburg Brewery, and delicious food. The organic shop and its accompanying wine cellar offer everything a gourmet's heart desires.

The medieval town of Berching, with its 13 towers, four gates, walkable defensive walls, and great playgrounds, awaits you! After a hike, it's worth visiting the local restaurants or cooling off your feet in the cool waters of the Sulz River in Hans Kuffer Park.

The Sulzpark in Beilngries is truly a worthwhile destination at any time of year.

Several houses on the main street have facades and stepped gables worth seeing, for example the Kaiserbeckhaus. In addition to houses with the typical flat-sloping limestone roofs of the Altmühl-Jurahaus, there are also buildings with steeper roofs and half-timbered houses in the center, which are often found in Franconia.
