Mariensäule, Schillerplatz, Murau 오늘날 Schillerplatz 한가운데에는 바로크 양식의 페스트 봉헌 조각군이 서 있습니다. 피라미드 형태로 상승하는 구성으로, 앞면은 교회 쪽을 향하고 있습니다. Mariensäule는 낮은 단철 난간으로 둘러싸인 육각형 광장에 높은 받침대 위에 서 있습니다. 원형 기둥 위에는 성모 마리아 이마쿨라타의 조각상이 세워져 있습니다. 모퉁이에는 여섯 명의 페스트 성인들이 서 있습니다. 07/2024: Travel by car to Murauer Hut. You should be there early enough to get a spot, otherwise try a little further down at the hotel. It's 6.5km and 400m of elevation to the Frauenalpe there and back. It's easy to walk, good path. No problem with a dog either. Wonderful panorama at the top, sloping steeply to the southeast. At the end you can stop at the Murauer Hut and start the way back.

You can also spend the night in the hut. It is usually open from the beginning of May to the end of October and from the beginning of December to the end of March.

The archway belongs to the Goppelsbach Castle behind it. The Mur cycle path leads through the archway and then continues along the property next to the Mur.

Excerpt from Wikipedia: In 1530, Wilhelm von Moosheim bought land from the Gurk Collegiate Foundation in Friesach and began building Goppelsbach Castle. This was completed in 1595 by Seifried von Moosheim. In 2005, the former third president of the Austrian National Council, Thomas Prinzhorn, acquired the castle and the associated 800 hectare forest. The archway belongs to this castle.
