Because the old town is a jewel, not to be overlooked

A great discovery! Some technical sequences and a wide variety of challenges. Breathtaking views. We followed this route on a "gourmet hike" (we congratulate the organization and the entire team responsible). Excellent memory!

Ste-Croix train station in the canton of Vaud is located at the terminus of the narrow-gauge railway from Yverdon-les-Bains. It connects the mountain village with the Swiss Plateau and serves as an important starting point for hikes in the Jura. The historic building reflects Alpine charm, while modern technology ensures reliable rail service.

Because the old town is a little gem

A historic town with its back alleys and colorful old town houses, it's rich in culture, especially if you count the castle. It's just a stone's throw from the lake promenade 👍😄

This vestige of the Middle Ages was built around 1240 and then renovated in the 20th century. The building once served as a residence for the lords. Today, a staircase allows you to reach the top of the tower which offers a splendid view of the surrounding farms and pastures and the Jura.
