Seetörlsee is picturesquely nestled below a small mountain pass on the route between Saalbachkogel and Hochkogel. This small mountain lake lends a special atmosphere to the high alpine landscape and, when the wind is calm, reflects the surrounding peaks. The nearby Seetörl Pass marks a transition between the mountain ranges and offers magnificent views of both sides of the valley—an ideal spot for a short rest amidst impressive natural scenery.

August 11, 2025 The Filzenscharte has been significantly improved. You can now take the lower trail with your mountain bike (push your bike). Planks have been laid along the entire length through the moor, allowing you to push your bike easily without any incline. The fence you previously had to lift your bike over has also been removed and replaced with two removable electric wires. It's super convenient now. Please always reattach the electric fence! The walk through the moor only takes a few minutes. You can safely forget the upper trail.

Here you can simply sit and enjoy the mountain panorama.

There is not much to say about the Thurn Pass - a good starting point for further activities.

The ascent from Kitzbühel is highly recommended as it is not as steep as from Mittersill

An absolutely fantastic bike climb and a classic in the area. Quite steep with ramps over 20%. You MUST do it once in your life.

Beautiful z three lakes in a picturesque landscape

nice, quiet place between the peaks. Invites people and animals to rest. In summer you can even take a bath.
