The cozy alpine hut is on the way to the Zugspitzblick and the Hohe Munde. It can be reached on foot, with touring skis or by mountain bike. With its high location in the Karwendel Mountains and directly below the Reither Spitze, the Nördlinger Hut offers a spectacular view that is appreciated by hikers and mountaineers alike. With a total capacity of 65 beds, divided into shared rooms and dormitories, it offers good overnight accommodation in this impressive mountain landscape. The operators value prior arrangement when visiting with dogs, especially on weekends when dogs are not allowed in the hut. Guests have the opportunity to choose breakfast, half board or à la carte options, with Tyrolean specialties and regional products taking center stage. For an overnight stay, however, you should note that payment is only possible in cash and although there is mobile phone reception, there is no WiFi available. The Nördlinger Hütte can be reached via various approaches, with walking times ranging from one hour to six hours. The hut serves as a starting point for numerous hiking tours in the area, such as to the Freiungsspitze or the Kuhlochspitze, as well as for the Freiungen Höhenweg and the Zirler via ferrata.
