From the Pfänder mountain, you can enjoy a sweeping view across Lake Constance and over to the Bregenzerwald forest with its rolling hills and mountains. Below you lie Bregenz and the Rhine Valley, and beyond, the lake and peaks shimmer in competition with each other. An ideal spot for a panoramic break, perfect for taking photos and guaranteed to awaken your wanderlust.

The Pfände towers high above Bregenz. Reachable by the Pfändebahn or on foot, it offers a brilliant view of the wide Lake Constance. At the top station of the cable car there is a wildlife park and several inns.

Wonderful view. At the top you can also strengthen yourself in the restaurant. The descent is indicated on signs with 1 hour and 15 minutes. It took us a little less than an hour. Going up takes a little longer. According to Komoot, it was 510 meters in altitude and some sections are very steep. The cable car runs every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Sundays only until 9 p.m.).

Those who fought their way up the pledges were rewarded with great views.

The €14.20 ticket for up and down is completely reasonable. The view is phenomenal! The Pfänder wildlife park is free. There's a large playground for children and several other dining options.
