steep but quiet climb up to the Alpe

Contrary to the information further up the hiking trail, this hut is not open all year round. Otherwise, it is a nice place to take a break.

Summit victory included. The Königstour with the Dreisistern and Fürstensteig is considered one of the most beautiful climbs in the Alps. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are a prerequisite. The hike through the wildly romantic and untouched Sami Valley is considered an autumn classic. Cannot be reached by bus during the week (outside the summer holidays) - so it's well frequented, but still ok!

Very friendly staff. Good food at reasonable prices. Beautiful view.

Hospitality great. Wonderful view of the Rote Wand from the terrace. From here you can take the Vorderälple Weg to the Saroja saddle. Depending on your condition, you can also go to the Gafadura hut with a sliding passage.
