The parking lot is large and subject to payment. The surrounding area offers many opportunities to climb various peaks, which are definitely worth it.

The 1,506 meter high Fänärenspitz is the northernmost Swiss Alpine peak in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. From the Gipferkreuz you have a wonderful view of the Appenzellerland.
