Beautiful hut with a great "view terrace", delicious snacks at a fair price, a stop is worth it.

The Stutzalpe is beautifully situated at 1,500 m above the Kleinwalsertal. It offers classic alpine food and drinks. From the terrace there is a wonderful view of the southern side valleys of the Kleinwalsertal.

The Sonna Alp is a rustic place to stop for a break with a panoramic terrace. Right next door is the mountain station of the Zafernabahn.

Always good for a break and a great starting point for numerous hikes and snowshoe tours.

Super alpine pasture with a great mountain backdrop. The hut owner Sabine always has an open ear for her guests and is happy to take the time to do so! Easily accessible from the Baad hiking car park via two paths (valley and high trail), also great for families with strollers. 🫶

I stayed here when the cabin was on winter break. Good to know: there is a covered, wind-protected area in front of the entrance.

A beautiful snowshoe tour even without a summit. From here you can climb the Steinmandl, the Hählekopf, the Gerachsattel or the Ifen.
