The summit cross at 1078 m was erected and inaugurated on September 15, 2013. The cross stands on the foundations of the former television reception system with which Miesenbach and Hinterleiten were supplied with ORF 1 + 2 from 1976.

The ascent via Schloffereckstraße is highly recommended, as it is very wide and there is little traffic. In addition, you climb a lot of meters in relatively few kilometers.

Summit along the Great Jogl Tour. Very nice forest path to the summit cross. There is a rest area and a summit book. Downhill you can shorten the last serpentine with a short beautiful root trail. The detour is worth it.

It is only a few minutes from the Arzberghütte to get here. Here at 1111 meters is the summit cross. The view is really awesome and the summit cross is a great photo opportunity. Immediately afterwards the trail starts.
