The Prinz Luitpold Haus is one of the oldest DAV huts in the Allgäu Alps and is located at an altitude of 1,846 meters. From the beginning of June to the beginning of October, the friendly host family will spoil you with refreshing drinks and tasty food. They taste best on one of the two sun terraces, from which you have great views. You can also spend the night at the hut. There are 160 beds available. Hello everyone, The Krinnen Alpe is at 1530m and is easy to reach on foot. Not too steep and with about 450m you can hike up from the Haldensee side in about 1.5 hours The adjacent chairlift has unfortunately been out of service for a long time, which is a shame. Nevertheless, it is great that the mountain hut is very popular and I hope that it continues to be that way. The food is super tasty and inexpensive too. Hiked from the Rosental Gorge from Imst. A beautiful mountain path to the hut. You are rewarded in the hut with a great view of the valley in the middle of the mountains. Friendly staff. The food was OK, but the food on offer was significantly reduced in the evenings (but this could also be due to the approaching end of the season). Prices were great for the effort (food etc. is transported by cable car). Sanitary facilities are well maintained. There are options to book rooms or camp here. It is very nice to sit and linger in the hut in the evening. In the morning there is a buffet on offer. Several peaks and viewpoints can be reached from the hut. The descent into the valley is no problem with the right footwear. All in all a great hut and definitely worth seeing.

Small DAV hut, with a good range of dishes. From here you can do the Imster or Wasserfall via ferrata.

A wonderful alpine inn with excellent food at fair prices and very friendly service. The menu is varied and also includes typical Austrian dishes. Examples include bacon dumplings (also available as a soup), Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes), and apricot dumplings. Renovated in 2019. We'll be back!
