Located at 1609 meters, on one of the highest peaks of the Jura, the hotel's views of the plateau, the Alps and the Three Lakes are breathtaking. Sit on the terrace or in the dining room to refuel after a walk in the Chasseral Regional Park. The hotel is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot, along one of the magnificent hiking trails.

Biel is not only beautifully situated on the lake, it is also one of the most important watch cities in the world. So it's no wonder that a large sundial has been set up at the harbor, with the shadow of which you can read the current time on the promenade at the boat jetties. You can recognize it by a small ball on its tip. Otherwise it looks rather simple and resembles a lamppost.
