With a height of 1,720 meters, the Hochlantsch is the highest mountain in the Grazer Bergland. It offers beautiful views over the race field, the Teichalm and the Gleinalm.
After a steep ascent through the high forest, a beautiful plateau opens up after a good hour's driving time. The summit cross is a bit off, with a great view.
A stop at the shelter is definitely recommended!
Visible from afar in the Murtal, the Mugel is the local mountain of the Leoben and Niklasdorfers. The Mugel-Schutzhaus is also a base for many long-distance hikers. In any case, the view from the mountain is terrific!
