The Heß Hut is named after the Gesäuse pioneer Heinrich Hess. It was expanded and modernized in 1996. The cozy hut atmosphere was nevertheless preserved.

Brilliant food, taste and presentation 1A! Sleeping camps are very comfortable and cozy in comparison. The view from the panorama terrace is breathtaking 😉

The Heßhütte is not only in a fantastic location, but also has great hosts and very good food. A good starting point for many tours! There are washrooms (no showers), flush toilets and a fountain in front of the door.

Very friendly service including landlord. Warm food is also available in the late afternoon and tastes excellent, and the pastries are also very commendable. At the end of the year in the hut, 2 musicians are playing today.
