오늘날 대성당 내부에서 사진 촬영이 허용되지 않더라도 (또는 바로 그렇기 때문에), 쿠스코를 방문하는 모든 사람에게 꼭 봐야 할 곳입니다. 다양한 건축 양식과 재료로 된 수많은 제단, 다양한 수호 성인, 은으로 만들어진 성광, 그리고 물론 전체 건축물은 감탄스럽습니다. 중앙 신도의 지지 벽은 주변 잉카 사원의 돌로 만들어졌습니다. 지진 후 대성당의 지붕이 파괴되었고 고딕 양식으로 재건되었습니다.

At the heart of Cusco is Coricancha, the most important temple of the Inca Empire. Coricancha, also spelled Korikancha or Qorikancha, means "Golden Temple" in Quechua. This impressive Inca Temple of the Sun remains a key feature of the city for locals and tourists alike.

The view of the lagoon is beautiful. If you have already done hikes in Huaraz, the view is not so exciting. We also have to say that the hike up there was not very exciting. In the end it is just a steep climb until you get to the lagoon. Surrounded by roofless stone buildings and steep terraces, Machu Picchu's central plaza offers magnificent views of Huayna Picchu. The plaza is the green island amidst the Inca stone buildings that make up Machu Picchu, and travelers will often see llamas roaming and grazing in the grass. The grassy area of the Central Plaza separates the Sacred Plaza and Intiwatana from the residential areas on the other side of the complex. The Temple of the Sun is an enclosure built on a natural cave. Due to its high location and its fine style, it is considered a religious building to worship the sun. It is the only construction of the Inca city that has a circular shape. It also has windows, niches and an entrance door. According to some chroniclers, it was where the mummy of the famous Inca emperor Pachacutec was buried, who ordered Machu Picchu to be built. The temple is made of granite blocks belonging to the imperial Inca style. Before the Spanish invasion, it was decorated with gold and silver ornaments.
