A cozy mountain hut with very friendly staff. From the dining tables, you have a view of the large reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stays are available in small dormitories.

Located at the very back of the Valle di Blenio, on the Ticino side of the wide Greina plateau, on the southern edge of the Alpe di Motterascio. The modern Motterascio hut with the impressive view from the lounge is the starting point for various mountain tours, circular hikes and stage location on the "Greina Alta" hut tour in summer.

Very nice little hut with a very exotic location. Huge panorama (250 °). If you are lucky you can also experience how helicopters deliver the supply, is definitely worth a hike!

We were missing the safety chains in the front part (cross aisle on the back of the Stöcklies).

Small but very clean and newly renovated SAC hut. Food very good. Big downer: toilet house "outside", which in my opinion is no longer up-to-date.

Wonderful ascent to the Piz. In early summer with alpine roses.
