The mountain above is reflected so beautifully in the early morning, but the lake also shines beautifully red in the evening when the sun sets. Swimming is probably not forbidden - but you shouldn't expect Mediterranean temperatures at 2000m altitude

The Gletscherstube Märjelen is located on the lake of the same name at an altitude of 2,363 meters. It is open from the beginning of July to mid-October. Overnight stays should be booked in advance.
