What I find particularly nice: The first "gondola" of the cable car, which by the way was put into operation in 1954, were those of the legendary national exhibition or "Landi" from 1939. When visibility is good, the view sweeps west across the Swiss Mittelland with its various mountain ranges to the Jura. The Central Swiss Alps rise to the south.

A single journey currently costs CHF 4.40. There is also a hiking trail right next to/under the railway. However, this is relatively steep and takes a little longer. The cable car ride took about five minutes.

You have to enjoy it again and again, the cable car ride to Felsenegg (or the other way around). But there are always people who have jitters about it. I've driven up here many times and once there was a young woman with me who was literally whimpering and it was probably stressful for her until we finally got to the top. Yes, it's hard to believe, perhaps, but that also exists. Others may be secretly happy when they reach the top ;)
