The park's location on the Atlantic Flyway attracts a variety of migrating birds. It is also the northern terminus of the Coastal Heritage Greenway and the eastern terminus of the Northern Delaware Greenway.

The Ardens Historic District is a registered as a National Historic District and comprises of nearly 600 building, homes, and structures. It's a quiet, relaxed place to ride.

This area, similar to the world-famous Stonehenge, consists of a several-acre meadow with a circular arrangement of massive boulders. While mostly used for bonfires by local college students, it also offers a unique perspective from this viewpoint.
