The hike through the Grießbachklamm to the Angerlalm and Huberalm (also called “Grießbachklamm Almrunde”) is a great round trip and a real highlight in terms of landscape. The beautiful, very well-designed gorge is impressive - over many bridges and climbs - and climbs moderately. Many beautiful places invite you to rest. After the gorge there is a good, but sometimes quite steep, climb to the Angerlalm, which impresses with a great view of Steinplatte and Fellhorn. But the view gets even better, just before the Huberalm you take the summit of the Huberkreuz (1146m) with you, a great vantage point with a beautiful all-round view, etc. on the Loferer Steinberge, Kaiser, Fellhorn, Kampenwand and much more. You should only be sure-footed and slightly free from giddiness in the gorge, but then it is a great round trip also for older children. Optionally, you can shorten the tour twice on the way. Tip!!! If you do the tour in the early morning, you are as good as alone and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Important: Both the gorge and the huts are closed between the end of October and mid-May!

Nice little gorge. Ideal for families. Not suitable for prams. There are three circular routes of different lengths. The signage could be a little better, especially in the upper area. At the starting point / entrance to the gorge there is a smaller and a larger parking lot. When the weather is good, the places are quickly occupied. Daily parking fee 2020 is 6 EUR / from 3 p.m. 3 EUR (attention: the parking ticket machine does not change). Entry to the gorge is free.
