The former Heinz factory is a historic complex located in the Troy Hill neighborhood along the Allegheny River. Founded by Henry J. Heinz in 1890, the factory was linked to railroads for nationwide product distribution. Heinz grew produce on company fields and sourced additional crops from local farmers while using greenhouses to develop experimental seeds. Built in stages from 1907 to 1958, the complex is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been converted into rental apartments offering stunning views of the city skyline.

The impressive fountain boasts a 200-foot-wide basin with an infinity waterfall, situated at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny rivers that come together to form the Ohio River, which eventually flows into the Mississippi. There are plenty of seating areas, making it an ideal spot to stop, enjoy the views and take some memorable photos.
