The Franz Senn Hut is located at an altitude of 2,147 meters and is run by the Austrian Alpine Club. It is the largest hut in the Innsbruck section, was built in 1885 and has since been expanded several times. The hut is a convenient place to stop on a trail run, because before continuing uphill or downhill, you can stop here and recharge your batteries.

I've already spent a ski weekend in this hut. Simple shared rooms, good sanitary facilities, and a rustic restaurant with good food. Can only be recommended.

We came to the Franz Senn Hut via the Oberriss Alm🏠 Nice approach 🌄and everything else was great 👍🏻(food, room, location, etc..) Highly recommended...
