The hiking trail to the gorge is partly refreshing, but also demanding. Correct footwear is a must.

This is where the best pictures at the Eibsee are made. Especially at sunrise you have the possibility of a perfect reflection in the water, the Zugspitze in the background and the Sasseninsel in the water.

Also very nice in winter. The path is prepared for a winter hike and is very easy to walk. There is plenty of seating along the lake with great views and lots of rubbish bins.

hello everyone unfortunately the Eibsee is so overcrowded that you can no longer recommend it as a tip, only chaos

Best during the week and when there are no more holidays .. Otherwise a bit crowded.
