Hiked from the Rosental Gorge from Imst. A beautiful mountain path to the hut. You are rewarded in the hut with a great view of the valley in the middle of the mountains. Friendly staff. The food was OK, but the food on offer was significantly reduced in the evenings (but this could also be due to the approaching end of the season). Prices were great for the effort (food etc. is transported by cable car). Sanitary facilities are well maintained. There are options to book rooms or camp here. It is very nice to sit and linger in the hut in the evening. In the morning there is a buffet on offer. Several peaks and viewpoints can be reached from the hut. The descent into the valley is no problem with the right footwear. All in all a great hut and definitely worth seeing.

Small DAV hut, with a good range of dishes. From here you can do the Imster or Wasserfall via ferrata.

Great Alm at almost 1,500m altitude with a fantastic view over Lermoos and Ehrwald. Very good kitchen with a rustic dining room.

Nice people, delicious food and a beautiful view that I can only recommend.

Everything is just right here: online booking system, friendly hut tenants, great dinners at mountaineering prices, from the menu or as a set menu, special requests are taken into account, breakfast as a buffet. You can even take a small snack with you for €3 (2022). The hut is easily accessible by cable car from Hochimst. There are plenty of free parking spaces available in Hochimst. From the middle station, the ascent takes 1.5 to 2 hours. From the mountain station, the Drischelsteig takes you to the hut in 30 minutes with a slight loss of altitude. The Alpincoaster from the middle station is ideal for the descent. The touring area offers climbers, mountaineers and hikers of all levels an offer for several days.

The view here is really great! Great Alm to stop off and enjoy the landscape. Nothing to complain about here...

In the alpine hut there is delicious homemade food and the Kaiserschmarren alone is worth the trip. I needed to be in good shape for the climb, but as with every climb, it's quickly forgotten at the top
