A challenging hike. From the Timmelsjoch pass to the Brunnenkogelhaus mountain hut... Not exactly easy, but pure nature including unforgettable panoramic views... And then, at the Brunnenkogelhaus, the magnificent reward. The Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) was superb!

The stamping point is located at the sign with the dish of the day ;)

A great hut with excellent Kaiserschmarrn! Perfect for a snack after the Fernar Trail :)

The large wood-paneled dining room with the green tiled stove dating from the turn of the century invites you to linger. A collection of local songbooks is available to guests. Culinary delights include beer and shandy, Wiener schnitzel, Tyrolean cheese dumplings and warm apple strudel. The beds are divided into bunks so that you can enjoy a little privacy. There is enough storage space for luggage and clothes. From the large sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ötztal Alps.

Beautiful hut, top-notch sanitary facilities, warm water at the sink, 1 minute shower costs 50 cents and the food is good too, if you're staying in the hut for several days the breakfast could be a bit more varied. Vodafone also has a great network in Italy. Rooms with sockets, but electricity is a bit scarce in the camp.

The hut offers a perfect view of the surrounding mountains. From here, climbing tours often take place.
