The Kundler Klamm is one of the most beautiful natural gorges in Austria and is located between Wildschönau and the Tyrolean Inntal. From Wildschönau you start the walk through the gorge through a landscape with beautiful meadows and forests. Once you arrive at the gorge, you can admire impressive rock walls of up to 200 meters high. The path is suitable for young, old and even with strollers.

The romantic Kundler Klamm gorge is one of the most popular excursions for young and old. According to legend, a dragon wrenched itself out of a rock. The nature gorge connects Hochtal Wildschönau with the Unterinntal. A wide hiking trail leads from Kundl for 3 kilometers along the Wildschönauer Ache and past the bizarre and imposing rocks. The riverbed is full of stones and is the site of several geological stone types. Numerous places invite you to play and hang out by the cool water. In the Wilschönau, a slow train runs between the Mühltal and the entrance to the Kundler Klamm. This train ride is recommended for families with children.

Despite the heavy rains in recent weeks, little water fell here.

Good footwear recommended.

A great, narrow and varied path leads through the forest here. The moisture from the ditch ensures that the forest is lush and green and that it is pleasantly cool when hiking on warm days.

Halfway to the Hohe Salve there is a beautiful waterfall. Here you can refill your water bottles.
