Very beautiful landscape, great for hiking

Beautiful green shimmering lake. Very natural. Trips with "wooden barges" are offered.

In my opinion, you should start the tour from the Seehotel and start to the left of the lake, then you have the great panorama in front of you on the way back and no cars.

Beautiful lake! If you want to go to the Kammersee, a small lake directly behind the Toplitzsee, you can take the traditional wooden boat typical of the region, a Plätte. This is the only way to get to the "Traunsprung" a waterfall behind the Kammersee and to the lake. The price for the return trip is 11 euros. You then have about half an hour to walk to the lake before it goes back again - it's easy. :)

The Ostuferweg am Almsee is highly recommended. Beautiful views of the lake from a trail only. There are a few benches on the shore for a break to enjoy the view. On the other side of the lake you walk along the road.

A beautiful plain embedded in nature. Well maintained paths. Mostly suitable for prams

Very clocky hut. Very nice host. There are no showers but the washroom is relatively spacious. The drying room is not heated. Definitely a worthwhile destination for a hike in a picturesque setting. There is a lake below the hut

Good resting place and starting point for climbing the summit.
