However, I was disappointed at the Bayreuther Hut. I had booked a 4-bed room back in January, so I was in plenty of time. When we arrived here in the late afternoon, we were sent to a 6-bed room. When I asked the hut warden about it, he simply said I only had a 4-bed room. Long story short, this hut is off-limits for us. The hike to Pertisau was long, but there were some very beautiful paths and trails. However, the bus from Maurach to Pertisau only ran every hour.

Kristallhütte absolute chic meeting place every 20 minutes you get overtaken by a VIP shuttle on the uphill once you get to the top the food and staff are good you can also charge your e-bike if you ask which is great then the total disappointment the beautiful single trail is closed to MTB so you have to go back the same way in the dust of the shuttle buses sorry it doesn't work 👎😤Tip to still have fun go up when the hut is closed 👍

Small, rustic hut with everything you need. Good food, great hosts.

Very good place to stop for refreshments, high quality, great view. The slopes up here are still very neat even later in the afternoon

Very cozy hut on the eastern edge of the Karwendel mountains. Significantly less frequented than the Erfurter Hütte, which can be reached by mountain railway. Excellent beer from Bayreuth and a small but fine menu complete the experience. Several peaks can be reached in 1-2 hours. I would choose this hut again at any time.

Beautifully situated mountain hut with delicious food and great views over the Zillertal and Inntal.
