Excellent natural swimming pool directly above St. Märgen - the water is guaranteed to be refreshing even in the hottest summer months.

The floating bridge is an interesting construction that leads over parts of Lake Flückinger.

St. Märgen is a typical Black Forest community at an altitude of 900-1,100 m. The church of St. Märgen can be seen from far away. A good starting point for hikes to the Zweribach and Hirschbach waterfalls.

Local recreation area on the southern edge of Freiburg. You can indulge yourself with culinary delights in the restaurants by the lake. Otherwise, take a walk or start hiking from there.

The water is relatively cold, but very pleasant after or during a tour. Bikes are not allowed in and there is an entrance fee.

The cake at the country women's café is highly recommended. It has lovely outdoor seating and is conveniently located near the bus stop.

Very clear, beautiful lake, you can rent boats in the summer. But don't swim in the forest lake!
