The Treibsee lake is quietly hidden in the middle of the Welzheim Forest. It resembles a small, enchanted lake, almost mystical depending on the weather. Swathes of fog, mirror-smooth water, and the tranquility of the forest make this place the perfect spot for a short break. If you want to pause for a moment on your hike and enjoy nature to the fullest, this is the perfect location.

We've compiled a video of the approximately 6.3km loop. Highlights include the Trögleshütte barbecue area, the Treibsee lake, and, of course, the "Große Platte" (Great Platte). The 498 meter high Hohberg does not offer a view, but at its highest point there is a hut and a summit cross.

Cool hut to take a break. 2 small ponds and a fun water pump turn it into an adventure park. For our dog, the small stream below the hut was ideal for cooling off.
