Well-preserved castle complex with extensive park. The castle can look back on an eventful history since the Middle Ages. A visit is worthwhile. The Neersen Castle Festival has been held there every year since 1984.
This small, castle-like building, which is surrounded by hundred-year-old oak and beech trees, is located on the edge of the Krickenbeck lake area. It came into the possession of the Counts of Schaesberg in 1682 and was rebuilt around 1800.
