The tour mainly consists of narrow paths through wooded areas and past countless rock formations that invite you to linger and take a closer look. Most of the route leads through varied forest areas. Here and there there is a view over the town of Rodalben, which is always in the immediate vicinity of the path. The route is easy to walk throughout and is well signposted. There are only a few places where you have to cross a street. The only small point of criticism is the street, which can be heard acoustically in many places, but this only detracts slightly from the whole experience. Highly recommended route! :-)

The bench and the picnic area are located directly on the watercourse. This is a really mystical place to take a break.

A beautiful and idyllic fountain on the Teufelspfad, not far from the Teufelsfels. I have never seen this fountain without water.

The Teufelsbrunnen is located in the nature reserve Gersbachtal above the Teufelsfelsen natural monument. The well itself is a former natural spring that was tapped in the 1930s. The fountain consists of a semi-circular sandstone wall and a small fountain trough in front. In the middle of the sandstone wall, above the well trough, the name of the well - Devil's Well - is embedded in red sandstone.

At this point / I would like to quickly / say something about the source (whereby it corresponds to the art of poetry / if this 'source' is a 'well'): To quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 - 1979), who was known to a wide audience for his word jokes and "Noch'n poem", with a short quatrain: "There is certainly much beauty in on the element, the wet. Because you can drink the water. But you can - also leave it." (H.Erhardt)
