There has been a summit cross on the Dolmar since 2009. Worship services were held here once a year.

If the weather is right, the view often disappears in the fog :)

The Pleß had been a princely hunting area for a long time when the hunting lodge “Pleßhaus” was built approx. 1 km north of the summit in 1866/67 and this later developed into a popular restaurant for excursions. In 1921 the first wooden observation tower was built on the summit. It became dilapidated and was replaced by a stone tower in 1936 (Wiki).

Very beautiful summit near Zella-Mehlis. The hut with terrace has a bit of an alpine flair.😉 Great view.👍
