It was blocked in May(end). The path is open during summer. There are many waterfalls on the way up.

*Well, with children this path might not be the best descent into the valley!* The landscape of this path is really beautiful. On the narrow path you walk down when the weir, this way still works. - BUT, after that it gets harder! Lots of rubble, mud and a lot of tripping hazards. - THEREFORE: Sturdy shoes are mandatory after the weir at the latest, because it goes along the Faltbach over extremely slippery ground, down steep gorges into the valley. Despite the difficult descent, we were able to collect incredible great impressions in many places <3

Free parking lot for hikers in the immediate vicinity. Especially beautiful in winter, there is hardly anything going on and the ice formations make for a wonderful photo motif

Mega beautiful trail from the Seealpe towards Oberstdorf. But you should be in good physical condition when going downhill and be very sure-footed.

demanding way. But the ravine is always worth the effort. Kudos to the designers and maintainers of the hiking trail. Everywhere you will find tethers on difficult passages.

The hike through the Starzlach Gorge is an experience. Narrow, sometimes low paths, alongside the roaring water, and experiencing the primal power of the elements make this tour a true highlight.

The Breitach forces itself near Tiefenbach through a wild gorge, which is accessible to visitors. Again and again it comes to heavy natural influences, be it by snow avalanches or rockfalls, as most recently in 1995, where the whole gorge has been devastated.
