Great trail and only occasional crossing traffic

This is a beautiful section of the North County Trail that runs between Elmsford to Tarrytown Lakes. At the north end of this section, the trail intersects with Tarrytown Lakes Extension Trail, a paved path with takes you along the banks of Tarrytown Reservoir.

Martine’s Fine Bake Shoppe is a European style bakery that is a great stop for breakfast, lunch or a mid-ride pastry. It has outdoor seating, so you can keep an eye on your bike while you eat.

Lovely section of the Bronx River Pathway. A good portion of this section runs through parkland and gives you good views of the river.

Just next to Parkway Oval Park you gain some lovely views of the Bronx River and some small rapids as it flows down next to the path. A lovely spot to stop and take in the peaceful ambience of the river.

This lake is located in the area's oldest park, which has been open since 1925. There's a nice path that encircles the lake, offering views of the entire area.

The Bronx River Pathway is a 9.2 mile path from Bronxville to Scarsdale. The trail is flat and fully paved, so it is an easy walk.

Nice view of the Bronx River from the trail. The river used to be extremely polluted, but in recent years it has been cleaned up and is now a very beautiful place.
