"In Troisdorf, the Agger flows into the Sieg, 70 kilometers from its source in Meinerzhagen, just behind the Agger weir opposite the Mannstaedt works. On its way from the Sauerland to the Rhineland, it climbs around 387 meters in altitude. Coming from Lohmar, it forms the city limits of about 2.8 kilometers to Lohmar and Siegburg. The complete way around the dam is worthwhile.

There are very nice walking paths around the Wahnbachtalsperre. To get to the bridge you first have to overcome a few meters in altitude, or you start at the parking lot near the bridge.

The tour around the dam is around 22 km long and there are some vertical meters to conquer. But it's worth it.
